Beaumont has 8 pool companies listed here, and the websites of five of them confirm that they build new pools: Platinum Pools, BlueFin Pools, Tallman Pools, Tejas Fiberglass Pools and Bob's Pool Company. The other three mostly clean, repair or service pools, or their websites did not say what they build. Before you call, decide between a concrete pool and a fiberglass shell, because the builders here split on that.
For a new backyard pool, start with the gunite builders. BlueFin Pools builds water features, fire features and pergolas, and lists gunite pools and fiberglass pools. Tallman Pools builds water features and pool automation, and lists gunite pools and vinyl liner pools. Tejas Fiberglass Pools lists gunite pools, fiberglass pools and spas. For fiberglass, BlueFin Pools and Tejas Fiberglass Pools install fiberglass pools.
Owners of an older pool have their own shortlist. Platinum Pools, BlueFin Pools, Tallman Pools and Bob's Pool Company list remodels and resurfacing. For a spa added to a new or existing pool, Platinum Pools, BlueFin Pools, Tallman Pools, Tejas Fiberglass Pools and 1 more build spas.
Mind the distance. Tallman Pools and Pool Techniques in Nederland, Tejas Fiberglass Pools in Lumberton and Premier Pools & Patios in Port Neches are listed here because those towns do not have a page of their own. The rest sit in or near Beaumont, in Jefferson County. If your property is nearer to Deer Park, Humble, League City, Pasadena or Conroe, each has a page of its own.

Plan around the weather here. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, heavy rain can fill an open excavation overnight, and the water table sits close to the surface in much of the area. Ask each builder how it handles a wet dig and what the schedule looks like if a storm is forecast.
Think about financing and warranty while you compare. Platinum Pools, BlueFin Pools, Tallman Pools and Tejas Fiberglass Pools offer financing, with lenders such as Lyon Financial named on their websites. Platinum Pools, Tallman Pools and Tejas Fiberglass Pools attach warranties, so ask each one what the warranty covers: structure, finish, equipment and workmanship. Platinum Pools and BlueFin Pools also remodel and resurface, so either can look after the pool after it is built.
Look at the track records next. Tallman Pools has worked in the area since 1976 and is rated 4.4 from 38 reviews. Platinum Pools is rated 4.8 from 58, BlueFin Pools 4.9 from 26 and Tejas Fiberglass Pools 5.0 from 18.
Three companies on the page did not say on their websites whether they build: Olivier Pools, Pool Techniques and Premier Pools & Patios. Call and ask before you add them to your shortlist.
