If you want pool builders in Texas's Harris County, Cypress has 9 companies on this page, and six of them build new pools: Island Life Pools & Patios, Luxe Outdoors, Creative Lifestyle Pools, Houston Pools & Spas, Cabana Pools Aquatech and Regal Pools. The other three mostly clean, repair or service pools, or their websites did not say what they build. Before you call, decide whether the pool is for a home or for a commercial property, because the list splits on that.
Home buyers should start with the gunite builders. Creative Lifestyle Pools builds water features, pool automation and landscaping, and lists inground pools and gunite pools. Houston Pools & Spas builds grottos, water features and 3D designs, and lists inground pools and gunite pools. Regal Pools builds infinity edge pools, water features and fire features, and lists inground pools and gunite pools. For fiberglass, Houston Pools & Spas installs fiberglass pools.
Commercial projects narrow the field. Creative Lifestyle Pools, Regal Pools and Oasis Pool Plastering take commercial work, according to their websites. If you already have a pool and want it remodeled or resurfaced, Houston Pools & Spas and Cabana Pools Aquatech list that work.
If your property is nearer to Tomball, Spring, Houston, Katy or Magnolia, each has a page of its own.

Timing matters on the Gulf Coast, so ask when your builder expects the pool to be in the ground. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, and much of the coastal plain has a high water table, so ask how the company keeps an open dig dry and protects the shell from groundwater pressure.
Think about financing and warranty while you compare. Island Life Pools & Patios, Creative Lifestyle Pools, Houston Pools & Spas and Regal Pools offer financing, with lenders such as Lyon Financial named on their websites. Luxe Outdoors and Oasis Pool Plastering attach warranties, so ask each one what the warranty covers: structure, finish, equipment and workmanship. Creative Lifestyle Pools and Houston Pools & Spas also remodel and resurface, so either can look after the pool after it is built.
Look at the track records next. Creative Lifestyle Pools has worked in the area since 1973 and is rated 5.0 from 34 reviews.
