Garland has 13 pool companies listed here, and the websites of four of them confirm that they build new pools: The Blue Lagoons Pools & Spas, Aqua Architects, EAV Construction and BlueLux Pools. The other nine mostly clean, repair or service pools, or their websites did not say what they build. Before you call, decide whether the pool is for a home or for a commercial property, because the list splits on that.
Start your shortlist with the gunite builders. The Blue Lagoons Pools & Spas builds fire features, pergolas and 3D designs, and lists gunite pools and spas. Aqua Architects builds water features, fire features and pergolas, and lists gunite pools and spas. BlueLux Pools builds water features, pergolas and pool automation, and lists inground pools and gunite pools. For fiberglass, BlueLux Pools installs fiberglass pools.
Commercial projects narrow the field. EAV Construction, BlueLux Pools and Santorini Pools take commercial work, according to their websites. If you already have a pool and want it remodeled or resurfaced, The Blue Lagoons Pools & Spas, Aqua Architects and Pool Chlor list that work.
Check where each company is based. The Blue Lagoons Pools & Spas and BlueLux Pools in Rowlett and Aqua Architects in Sunnyvale are listed here because those towns do not have a page of their own. The rest sit in or near Garland, in Dallas County. If your property is nearer to Richardson, Wylie, Dallas, Plano or Rockwall, each has a page of its own.

Spring brings hail, and a hard freeze in winter can damage pumps and pipes, so ask how the builder protects the equipment.
Think about financing and warranty while you compare. The Blue Lagoons Pools & Spas, Aqua Architects and BlueLux Pools offer financing. BlueLux Pools attaches warranties, so ask each one what the warranty covers: structure, finish, equipment and workmanship. The Blue Lagoons Pools & Spas and Aqua Architects also remodel and resurface, so either can look after the pool after it is built.
Experience and reviews make a good first filter. Aqua Architects has worked in the area since 2011 and is rated 5.0 from 28 reviews. The Blue Lagoons Pools & Spas is rated 4.8 from 234, EAV Construction 5.0 from 21 and BlueLux Pools 4.9 from 20.

Scheduled Garland Pool Maintenance cleans, repairs or services pools and is rated 4.9 from 39 reviews. Santorini Pools cleans, repairs or services pools and is rated 4.8 from 35 reviews.
